Hello!

Welcome to Fatigue Concepts Class!

EXAMS

There is usually no exam. Let's get that out of the way first.

DRESS

I don't enforce any dress code per se, though your employer might. Wear layered clothing if possible: the classroom temperature is usually
quite comfortable, but may not be ideal for everyone. Besides, the outside temperature might be a bit too hot or too cold. Layered clothing.

TIME SCHEDULE

The class start time is 7:45 am on the first day for registration and settling down. Lecture will begin at approximately 8:00 am. Plan to arrive a few minutes early, in consideration to your fellow students.

This will also allow you to account for traffic delays, trying to find the right building, parking and security checks in some secure locations (please bring your Government ID and an invitation to the
class -- if you have no other papers, this page might be sufficient). Traffic into military installations can be extremely heavy in the morning.

We usually end by 4:30-5:00 pm everyday. The last day of the class might end a bit sooner: usually around 3:30 pm.

The starting time on 2nd day onwards, the lunch times (usually one hour duration) and quitting times will be arrived at by consensus. If you have carpool, daycare pickup, evening classes, high-impact aerobics or other conflicts, email me in advance.

RULES

Cell phones and pagers must be turned OFF or in vibrate mode at all times inside the classroom. If you need to use your laptop for any reason during the class sessions, you must take it outside the classroom. Again, an open laptop, iPad, ... are strictly prohibited in the classroom during training hours.

OTHER THINGS TO CONSIDER

In some specific locations, there may be additional things to consider, for example:

If the class is held inside a Military Base or other secure facility, make sure your auto registration title and proof of insurance are current. State of Alabama, for instance, might allow a grace period to
renew your auto documents, but Redstone Arsenal will NOT, though it is located in Alabama.

Email me your mobile cell phone number so we could send you help if you need assistance getting into the base. This will also be of use if the facility changes classroom or building in the last minute.

Thank you for reading this far. I look forward to seeing you in the class!
